ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Women’s Group
The Women T20 World cup is going to start from 21st February and will end on 8th March 2020. Thailand, being the new entrant to the group the world’s top 10 teams will contest against each other in 23 matches. Let’s have a look at the groups,
- Group A
- New Zealand
- Sri Lanka
- Group B
- South Africa
- West Indies
Group A consists of five teams Australia, India, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh wherein Group B there is South Africa, England, West Indies, Pakistan, and Thailand. The Australia Women and India Women team from Group A will play against each other at the tournament starter. The last group stage match will be played on 3rd March between West Indies Women and South Africa Women team from Group B.
ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Men’s Group
The Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 is going to start from October 18, 2020, and the final match will be played on November 15, 2020. The whole tournament will consist of 2 rounds alongside the semifinals and final.
Round 1: ICC T20 2020 Qualifying Round
The world’s top 8 ranked team will not have to take part in the qualifying round. In the qualifying round, 8 teams will participate in two groups.
Group A – Sri Lanka, Oman, Papua New Guinea, and Ireland
Group B – Bangladesh, Namibia, Scotland, and the Netherlands
Round 2: ICC T20 2020 Super 12
In the Super 12 round, there will be 12 teams in two groups.
Group 1: Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, West Indies, alongside the winner of Group A and second positioned team of Group B.
Group 2: India, South Africa, England, Afghanistan, Group B winner, and Group A runner up.
